Classic Tuna and Noodle Casserole
  • 1/2 pkg. (or 6 oz.) medium noodles
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (2 1/2 oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can (6 1/2 oz.) tuna, drained
  • 1/2 c. sliced, stuffed green olives, if desired
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. crushed potato chip crumbs
  1. Cook noodles according to package directions.
  2. Drain.
  3. In saucepan, combine soup (undiluted), milk, and tuna.
  4. Bring to boil.
  5. Stir in cooked noodles, cheese, mushrooms, and olives.
  6. Pour into buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
  7. Top with potato chip crumbs.
  8. Bake at 375°F. for 15 to 20 minutes.
