Baked Macaroni and Cheese, Mom's Way
  • 6-8 oz. Velvetta Cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 6 oz. Cream
  • 1 heaping cup Macaroni
  • 1/2 tsp. of salt
  • 1-1/2 tsp. of pepper or more if you desire.
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. oil
  1. Boil water and oil, add macaroni and cook according to package directions.
  2. Spray a bowl with Pam. (Oven proof bowl)
  3. Add egg, salt, pepper and cream, mix until frothy.
  4. Drain macaroni and add to bowl with cream and egg mixture.
  5. Slice 1/3 cup of margarine on top of macaroni, then push gently into the mararoni mixture.
  6. So the same as above with the cubes of cheese, leaving some of the cheese on top.
  7. Cover with foil or lid and bake at 350 degrees F. for about 1 hour.
  8. Check at 30-35 minutes, to see if borwning if not, then remove cover and continue to bake until lightly brown.
