Cream Cheese Potatoes
From: Sandra
  • 10 potatoes-boil until fork goes through easily then cool and peel. Try not to over cook or potatoes will be gummy.
  • In a saucepan cook together-    1 can of cream of chicken
        1 can of cream of mushroom
        1 cube of butter
        1 medium tub of sour cream
        1/4 cup milk or half and half
        salt and pepper to taste.
  • Grate 5 potatoes in a 13x9 inch casserole dish and spread out.
  • Spread half of cream mixture on top, then grated cheese and chopped green onion (whatever amount you like) on top of the cheese.
  • Repeat layer.
  • bake at 350* for about 15 minutes or until all melted together.

    Definately a tummy pleaser!

If you don't like mushrooms, 2 cans of cream of chicken do just fine. In fact the cream of chicken is tastier than the cream of mushroom.
