Scrub potatoes; pare a strip of skin about 1/2-inch wide
around center of each potato.
Place potatoes in medium sauce
pan; add 1 teaspoon salt and boiling water to measure 1 inch.
Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
Cook, covered, 20 minutes or
until potatoes are tender.
Drain. Return to heat, shaking pan
to dry potatoes.
Melt butter in small saucepan.
Add lemon
juice, chives and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Pour over potatoes; toss
until potatoes are well coated.
Turn potatoes into heated
serving bowl.
Garnish with lemon slices and if desired,
sprinkle with chives.
