CHEESE POTATOES
  • 6 medium-size baking potatoes
  • 1 c. Pet milk
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 3/4 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. pepper
  1. Bake potatoes for 1 hour at 350 degrees wrapped in foil.
  2. Cool 15 minutes.
  3. Cut potatoes in half, spoon out inside into bowl.
  4. Mix margarine and milk into potatoes.
  5. Add additional milk, if needed to make like mashed potatoes.
  6. Put potatoes back into peeling.
  7. Slice strips of cheese and place on top.
  8. Reheat at 350 degrees until cheese melts and potatoes are hot.
  9. Serve hot.
