Lemon Meringue Pie

Serves: 6

  • 3 eggs separated
  • 1 can Eagle Brand Condensed Milk
  • 1/2 cup real Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 1 graham cracker crust
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tarter
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  1. Beat egg yolks, stir in milk, Real Lemon Juice and lemon peel.
  2. Pour into crust.
  3. Beat egg whites with cream of tartar till foamy, gradually add sugar,
  4. Spread on pie carefully selling at edge.
  5. Bake in 350 degree oven until golden.
  6. Cool --Chill before serving.
