Christmas Casserole

  • 6 slices white bread, buttered and cubed
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheese
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 lb. sausage, cooked and drained
  1. Use a 13 x 9 1/2 inch casserole dish
  2. Place bread on bottom
  3. Sprinkle with sausage and cheese.
  4. Mix remaining ingredients with whisk.
  5. Pour mixture over sausage and cheese.
  6. Chill 8-24 hours.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
