Fried Chicken
From: Hazel McKnight Billips
  • 2 1/2 pound fryer, cut up and sprinkled with salt and pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons evaporated milk
  • 2 Tablespoons water
  1. Pour ingredients above over chicken and marinate about 10 minutes.
  2. Dip chicken in bowl of all-purpose flour.
  3. Shake off excess flour.
  4. Deep fry in Wesson oil at 300 degrees or pan-fry on medium (making sure oil is hot before putting chicken in).
  5. Make sure chicken is covered with oil at all times.
  6. Fry until golden brown.
