Spiced Tea
From: Nick and Barbara Melton
  • 4 Cup water
  • 4 Cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoon whole allspice
  • 2 teaspoon whole cloves
  • 1 gallon brewed tea
  • Juice of 3 oranges
  • Juice of 3 lemons
  1. Cook to a syrup the water and sugar.
  2. Tie spices in a cloth bag and crush.
  3. Place in syrup and boil for 10 minutes; remove bag.
  4. Add syrup mixture and orange and lemon juices to tea.
  5. Serve hot or cold.
30 servings, more or less.
