Turkey Soup--To the Last Drop!

  • 2 quarts turkey broth (Boil the bones!)
  • 2 cups chopped cooked turkey
  • 1 16 oz. can whole tomatoes, undrained and chopped
  • 1 8 oz. can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 8 oz. can English peas, drained
  • 1 8 oz. can navy beans (or 1 cup cooked navy beans)
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 2 tablespoon barley
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 1 beef-flavored bouillon granule
  • 1 chicken-flavored bouillon granule
  • Dash garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  1. Combine all ingredients, bring slowly to a quiet boil, and reduce heat immediately and simmer one hour.
  2. Serve after Thanksgiving and after a day of Christmas Shopping.
