CINDERELLA CAKE
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 Cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 Cup milk
  • 1 1/2 Cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cream sugar and butter in mixer bowl until light and fluffy
  3. Add eggs and milk; mix well.
  4. Sift flour and baking powder together.
  5. Add to creamed mixture; mix well. Blend in vanilla.
  6. pour into greased and floured 9-inch cake pan.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until cake tests done.
  8. Cool in pan for 5 minutes. Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Frost with favorite frosting.

    Yields 8 servings.
