CUPCAKE CONES
  • 1 2-layer package cake mix
  • 1 16-ounce can frosting
  • 24 flat-bottom ice cream cones
  • Candy sprinkles

  1. Select your favorite flavor cake mix and frosting go-togethers.
  2. Preheat oven as directed on the cake mix package.
  3. Prepare cake mix according to the package directions.
  4. Spoon enough batter into ice cream cones to fill 1/3 full. Arrange cones on baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until cake tests done when toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
  6. Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Spread each cupcake with frosting; swirl frosting into point at center of top.
  8. Decorate with candy sprinkles.

    Yields 2 dozen.
