Ice Tea Syrup
- 14 small tea bags or 3/4 cup loose tea
- 3 1/2 cups boiling water
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- Iced water
- Pour boiling water over tea bags; cover.
- Let steep for 5 minutes.
- Strain, if using loose tea.
- Add sugar to tea.
- Place 1/4 cup tea syrup in each glass; add iced water until glass if filled.
Yield: 24 servings
Syrup maybe stored in glass container in refrigerator indefinitely.
