Sharlene's Deer Barbecue

Gray, KY
  • 1 Deer Roast
  • 1 bottle hickory smoked barbecue sauce
  • salt to taste
  • Cook roast 3 to 4 hours until tender.
  • after roast is done cut into pieces and put in food processor and shred.
  • Take out and put meat back in kettle
  • Add salt and barbecue sauce
  • Cook until sauce is warmed.
  • Serve on hamburger buns.
  • Top with your favorite cole slaw recipe, optional
