Caviness Kahlua
  • 1 quart water
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons instant coffee
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups vodka
  1. Bring water, sugar and coffee to boil in a saucepan.
  2. Simmer VERY slowly for 3 hours.
  3. Mixture will be very dark and syrupy.
  4. Cool.
  5. Add vanilla and vodka.

    Makes 7 cups.
