Dissolve the package of yeast in 1 cup of warm water.
Add the oil, sugar, salt and half the flour.
Mix thoroughly.
Add the other half of the flour and continue mixing.
Put the dough on a floured surface and need 10 times.
Form a smooth dough ball and place back in the bowl.
Oil the outer surface of the dough ball.
Put the dough in a warm place and allow to rise for 1 hour.
Pizza
2 – 8 oz cans of pizza sauce
1 lb mozzarella cheese , grated
1 package of ground sausage (brown before adding to pizza)
1 package of sliced pepperoni
1 – small onion (diced)
1 – 4 oz can of mushrooms
Any toppings of your choice
Grease 3 large pizza pans.
Pre-heat the oven to 500° F.
Once the dough has doubled in size, divide the dough into 3 equal balls.
Roll out the dough and place on a greased pizza pan.
Pinch the edges to make a nice edge for the crust.
Add pizza sauce a smooth over the entire pie.
Add cheese & toppings.
Place in the oven for 8 minutes.
After 8 minutes, switch the pizza to the other rack (lower or upper depending on original position) and cook for 8 more minutes or until crust is a light brown.
Allow pizza to cool for a few minutes.
Cut and serve.
Makes 3 medium pizzas.
