Ghirardelli Double Chocolate Brownie
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup Ghirardelli Sweet Ground Chocolate and Cocoa
  • 2/3 cup unsifted flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup Ghirardelli Double Chocolate Chips
  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Using a spoon, stir eggs with sugar and vanilla; add butter.
  3. Sift ground chocolate with flour, baking powder and salt.
  4. Stir into egg mixture; add nuts and chocolate chips.
  5. Spread into a greased 8 or 9 inch pan.
  6. Bake 20—30 minutes.

    For chewy brownies, use an 8 inch pan and less time.

    For cake-like brownies, use 9 inch pan for longer time.
