• 2 c.flour
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 stick butter
• 1/2 cup salad oil
• 4 tablespoons cocoa
• 1 cup water
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 2 eggs -- beaten
• 1 teaspoon soda
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

1. Sift flour and sugar.
2. Combine butter, oil, cocoa and water in saucepan.
3. Bring to a boil.
4. Pour over flour mixture and beat well.
5. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.
6. Pour into oblong pan
7. bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

Icing

• 4 tbsp. cocoa
• 1 stick butter
• 6 tbsp. cream
• 1 box confectioners sugar

1. Combine cocoa, butter and cream in saucepan, bring to a boil.
2. Pour over confectioners sugar, stirring constantly.
3. Pour over hot cake.
