2 tablespoons cream

put sugar in heavy pan and heat slowly until melted and browned, stirring constantly
add boiling water slowly, stirring vigorously cook until syrupy and all the browned sugar has melted
remove from heat and add cream
serve hot or cold
if too thick when cold add more cream and stir makes about 1 cup, John also wrote and said this was good on Apple Pancakes and Vanilla Ice Cream and if you believe him he said it was low fat.
