Prune Cake
From:Piglett
  • 3/4 cup shortening
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 cup chopped stewed prunes
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • 2 tsps cinnamon
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt

  1. mix
  2. Bake in three layers
  3. spread with sour cream prune filling.

Filling

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup chopped prunes
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  1. Put together in pan
  2. cook 20 minutes.
