Brown the pork chops in the oil or butter and place in a single layer in a 9 x 13 baking dish.
Combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl, mixing well and pour over the pork chops, cover with lid or foil.
Bake at 350º for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
