Easy Pop Overs
From:Tandy
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  1. Break eggs into a bowl.
  2. Add milk, flour and salt.
  3. Mix well with a spoon.
  4. Disregard lumps when filling greased muffin tins 3/4 full.
  5. Put in COLD oven, set at 400 degrees.
  6. Bake 45 minutes but DO NOT open the oven door for AT LEAST 30 minutes. Tandy said, "I baked mine another 10 minutes and they were done".

Notes:

You can use a popover pan and have 5 popovers OR a regular muffin pan and have 9 of them.
These are textured like a cream puff. The interior is soft and the exterior is brown & crusty. This is the easiest popover recipe ever.
