- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1 pound dates, chopped
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups rice krispies
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- Coconut, long thread
- Put first four ingredients into a large frying pan.
- Heat and stir continually until mixture is like fudge.
- Remove from heat.
- Add cereal and walnuts.
- With buttered fingers, shape into balls.
- Roll balls in coconut.
- Chill
