- 1 c. soft margarine or butter
- 5/8 c. sugar (1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp.)
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 3/4 c. grated apple
- confectioners sugar frosting with decoration
- Cream butter and sugar thoroughly.
- Stir in flour.
- Stir in apples.
- Mix thoroughly with hands.
- Chill.
- Roll out on lightly floured board, not too thin.
- Cut with floured cookie cutters.
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
- Decorate.
