- 7 c. chopped nuts
- 6 slices pineapple
- 2 c. cherries
- 2 c. chopped dates
- 3/4 lb. raisins
- 1 c. melted butter
- 3 well beaten eggs
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. milk
- 3 c. plain flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- Mix nuts, pineapple, cherries, dates and raisins and add 1/2 cup sherry; let stand overnight.
- Mix butter and sugar.
- Add eggs, flour, soda and cinnamon alternating with milk.
- Add fruit mixture.
- Drop on well greased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 300 degrees.
- Store in airtight container.
