- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- Mix shortening, sugar, salt and nuts together.
- Work in flour with hands.
- Chill dough.
- Make balls the size of walnuts.
- Bake at 400 degrees on ungreased cookie sheet for about 10 to 12 minutes.
- When cool roll in confectioners sugar.
Makes about 40 cookies.
Can be frozen.
