- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 2 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 tsp. almond flavoring
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
- Cream butter and shortening, adding sugars gradually.
- Add eggs and beat well, then add flavoring.
- Add flour, sifted with salt, soda and spices.
- Press out of cookie press and bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
