• 3 squares of unsweetened chocolate
• One-half pound of butter (not margarine)
• 2 cups white sugar
• 4 well-beaten eggs
• 1  1/3 cups flour
• 1 cup chopped pecans

1. Melt the chocolate squares and the butter in top of double boiler
2. Remove from heat and add the sugar
3. Let cool and add the well-beaten eggs, flour and pecans
4. Bake in two well-buttered 8" x 8" baking pans at 400 for approximately 18 minutes
5. Take from oven, cut brownies, immediately roll in powdered sugar and store in tin cake can
