PARMESAN WINGS
  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • water
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup fine dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  1. Remove and discard wing tips.
  2. Separate wings at joint.
  3. Dip in water to dampen
  4. Stir next 7 ingredients together in bowl.
  5. Roll wing pieces to coat.
  6. Arrange some in circle on plate.
  7. Cover loosely with waxed paper.
  8. Cook on high (100%) for 12 minutes, rotating dish 1/2 turn after 6 minutes.
  9. Let stand 5 minutes.
  10. If juice runs clear when pierced, it is cooked, if some pink remains, cook on high (100%) for about 1 minute intervals testing after each minute.

    Repeat with remaining wings.

    Makes about 18
