CARAMEL BACON
  • 1 pound sliced bacon, halved crosswise
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  1. Press bacon slices into brown sugar to coat each side.
  2. Lay 4 around edge of paper towel lined plate.
  3. Cover with second paper towel.
  4. cook on high (100%) about 5 minutes until dark brown, rotating plate after 2 1/2 minutes.
  5. repeat with rest of bacon.
  6. Cool.

    These will get really crisp.

    Break in half to serve.

    Makes about 3 dozen.
