SHRIMP PUFFS
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 3 ouncse cream cheese
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup shrimp, cooked, cleaned, rinsed and diced
  • 1/4 cup finely diced celery
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • Mayonnaise (optional)
  1. Mix butter and creamed cheese; blend well.
  2. Add flour.
  3. Form into a ball and chill for at least 1 hour.
  4. Roll thin and cut with a round cookie cutter.

Shrimp Filling:

  1. Mix all remaining ingredients together.
  2. Add a little mayonnaise if too thick.
  3. Put 1/2 teaspoon of the mixture in each puff.
  4. Spread rounds with Shrimp Filling.
  5. Fold in 12 and pinch edges together.
  6. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in a preheated 400-degree oven for 10 minutes.
  7. Serve hot

    Makes 40 puffs
