Thumbprint Cookies
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cups quick oats
  • strawberry preserves
  1. Beat butter and sugar
  2. add vanilla and beat until fluffy
  3. Add flour and oats, mix well
  4. chill dough
  5. Form into balls
  6. place on baking sheet; take thumb and make your print in each ball
  7. fill thumbprint with preserves.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 15 minutes

Makes 3-5 dozen cookies
