- 3 tablespoons of butter or margarine
- 1/2 to 1 cup light brown sugar (Depends on how sweet you want it).
Cook this over medium heat until sugar melts and browns slightly.
Remove from heat and then stir in:
- 1/2 cup canned milk
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla flavoring
- 1/2 cup of golden raisins
Heat about 1 minute longer to dissolve sugar.

This is a recipe that my mom, (Virginia Caldwell),
always made when cooking Thanksgiving or Christmas dinners.
It really goes wonderful with ham. My mom is now a terminally ill
cancer patient and I just wanted to publish this recipe in her honor.
