This is my mother's recipe, she fixed them when I was small and they are the best peanut butter cookies I have ever eaten.

• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 cup white sugar
• 2 eggs, well beaten
• 1 cup peanut butter
• 3 cups flour
• 2 teaspoons soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

1. Cream butter and sugar
2. Add eggs and peanut butter, mix.
3. Add rest of the ingredients, mix.
4. Shape into balls, the size of a walnut, flatten with fork.
5. Bake until brown at 400 degrees F. about 9 min.
