Coffee Eggnog
  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee granules or crystals
  • 1 Tablespoon hot water
  • 1 quart (4 cups) eggnog
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 2 tablespoons coffee-flavored liqueur, if desired
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream, whipped
  • 1/8 teaspoon allspice
  1. In large pitcher, dissolve coffee granules in hot water.
  2. Add eggnog, powdered sugar and 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  3. Blend well with wire whisk.
  4. Refrigerate until serving time.
  5. Just before serving;, stir liqueur into eggnog mixture.
  6. Top each serving with whipped cream sprinkle with allspice
Makes 8 (1/2 cup)serving
