Chocolate Egg Nog Pie
- 1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) instant vanilla flavor pudding and pie filling mix

1 1/3 cups commercial eggnog

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup finely chopped bittersweet chocolate

1 prepared 8-inch chocolate crumb crust
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and eggnog for 1 to 2 minutes, or until the mixture is well blended and smooth.
- In a medium bowl, with and electric mixer on high speed, beat the cream to stiff peaks. Fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until thoroughly blended.
- Stir in 3/4 cup of the chocolate. Turn the filling into the crust.
- Garnish the top with the remaining 1/4 cup chocolate. Refrigerate until serving time, 1/2 hour or longer. To serve, cut into slices.
