• 2 cups margarine
• 2 cups xxx sugar
• 2 teaspoons vanilla or almond flavoring
• 4 1/2 cups flour
• 1/2 teaspoon salt

1. Mix butter sugar and flavoring thoroughly.
2. mix flour and salt, stir into butter mixture (must use hands to mix
3. mold in rolls about 2 inches across.
4. wrap in wax paper and chill several hours or overnight.
5. heat oven to 400 degrees F.
6. Slice about 1/8 inch thick
7. place a little apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.

This makes 10 dozen cookies and they are great.
