Italian Spaghetti Sauce
From: Nancy Melton Smith
Mix together and sauté:
  • 2-3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 minced onion,
  • 2 cloves garlic
Add:
1 bay leaf, cloves, allspice, oregano, parsley flakes, etc. to taste. Add:
  • 1 tomato paste,
  • 1 tomato puree
  • 2-3 cups water.

Cover and simmer for 1 hour.

Add:

  • 2 teaspoon Salt
  • pepper
  • 1-Tablespoon vinegar

Simmer for 2 hours.
