Dressing

  • 1 1/2 pones of cornbread, crumbled fine
  • 3 ribs of celery, diced fine
  • 1 small onion, diced fine
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons sage
  • 1/2 can of cream, large can
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup drippings from turkey (save as much as possible from the turkey)
  1. Cook celery and onion in small amount of water until tender.
  2. Drain.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  4. Grease pan and pour in dressing.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees until done and brown around the edges.
  6. About 20-30 minutes.
