Sherlock’s Bourbon-Glazed Beef Ribs
  • 2 racks (7 ribs each) beef ribs
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup bourbon
  1. Heat oven to 300°.
  2. Arrange ribs on a broiling pan lined with foil.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients for glaze.
  4. Brush ribs with a thin film of glaze and place in oven.
  5. Brush frequently and generously for 1 hour. *
  6. Ribs will be medium-cooked.
  7. Follow same procedure if grilling outdoors, basting and turning ribs.
  8. Continue cooking and basting for well-cooked ribs.

* Note: If using baby back ribs, cook for 40 minutes.
